Taiwan is glad to announce a TEEP@AsiaPlus program, aimed to provide a 6-month high quality internship for students to receive practical learning in taiwanese universities. The internship, sponsored by the Ministry of Education Taiwan, will begin from 1st July to 31st December 2018 and includes a hands-on workshop and a special topic research of the intern’s choice. The internship carries a stipend of 10,000- 15,000 New Taiwan Dollar/month for 6 months, with possibility of enrolling in degree seeking programs, and tuition waiver.For detailed information, please visit  http://www.studyintaiwan.org/teep/

Free tuition and monthly stipend NT$10,000 TEEP denotes Taiwan Experiential Education Program, which was initiated by Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan government three years ago. For the successive three years (2015-2017), the TEEP center at  National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), located in Kaohsiung City of Southern Taiwan has continuously applied and gained the funding to conduct  International Consulting Program in Taiwan (ICPT). The Indonesia Taiwan Education Center in Surabaya (TECSID) was established by Asia University (AU), Taiwan, in collaboration with AU’s sister university, China Medical University (CMU) under the auspice of the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, to promote the government’s new southbound policy in bilateral talent cultivation and industry linkage in coordination with ASEAN and South Asian countries. TECSID has been created as a platform to connect universities in Taiwan and Indonesia and thus enhance mutual understanding educationally, socially and culturally and to achieve prosperity by enriching and empowering each other. Over the last 20 years, Taiwan-related studies have grown significantly, attracting international scholarly attention. In March this year, Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) set up the first Taiwan Center in Indonesia at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). In order to enrich the activities in this Taiwan center, TETO and UNS agreed to sign the MoA to launch a new Taiwan Studies project from August 1, 2017 sponsored by Taiwan Ministry of Education. Through this project, UNS will be one of the authorized channels to carry out various Taiwan Studies related activities including Course development, Scholarly visits, and Taiwan Studies publications to develop wider and sustained scholarly interest in the study, research and teaching of the politics, culture, society, external relations and economy of Taiwan.
